Public Hearings
Public hearings provide community members with the opportunity to express their thoughts about upcoming local government decisions. Public hearings are advertised at least two weeks in advance in the Free Lance Star and are published online at least three business days before each meeting in the agenda here. Any additional support materials provided by staff will also be available in the agenda.
Those who wish to make a comment for a public hearing may do so in one of the following ways:
- Attend a meeting in person,
- Attend virtually here and join the public comment queue, or
- Email at least one hour prior to the meeting for the comment to be entered into the record.
NOTE: Comments are subject to a time limit of three minutes or approximately 500 words, and community members must disclose their full name and physical address when providing a comment in any of the formats listed above.
