Tourism Advisory Committee
The King George County Tourism Advisory Committee (TAC) was created for the purpose of advising the Board of Supervisors on matters of enhancing tourism and tourism-related activities, and for making recommendations to the Board regarding the use of tourism designated funds. The TAC is advisory in nature only and has no power to declare or establish policy.

Tourism Grant Application
The King George County Tourism Advisory Committee (TAC) is pleased to announce the Tourism Grant application (PDF) initiative designed to increase County tourism-related activities. The tourism grant application is a mechanism for funding generated pursuant to VA State Code § 58.1-3819, which states the designated funds must be spent solely for (i) tourism and travel and/or (ii) marketing of tourism or initiatives that, as determined after consultation with the local tourism industry organizations, including representatives of lodging properties located in the county attract travelers to the locality, increase occupancy at lodging properties, and generate tourism revenues in the locality.
Applications can be submitted via email to rgrapes@co.kinggeorge.va.us or kwilson@co.kinggeorge.va.us the application can be mailed or hand-delivered to Roan Grapes at 10459 Courthouse Drive, Suite 200, King George, VA 22485. All applications received within the open period will be reviewed by the TAC and submitted to the King George County Board of Supervisors for final approval. Successful applicants should expect a minimum administrative process of one (1) month from the approval date before receiving TAC grant funds.
