King George County is beginning the process of redrawing voter district boundary lines (redistricting) based on Census 2010 population data.  The state of Virginia requires localities which elect governing bodies by district to redistrict every ten years to account for population and demographic shifts.  King George County must redistrict prior to the November 2011 elections.
