King George County does not prorate personal property taxes therefore you are taxed for the entire year on what you owned in King George County as of January 1^st.  Those moving out and/or selling after the first are responsible for the entire year; But those moving in and/or purchasing after the first will not be taxed until January 1^st of the following year.
