FIREFIGHTER / EMT - Enhanced, Intermediate or Paramedic

Starting Base Salary: $33,895 / FR-Tech I $39,318 / FR-Tech II $41,318 Based on certifications, qualifications and Experience.

*Base salary does not include: Shift Differential, Holiday, and/or Overtime Compensation.

The King George County Department of Emergency Services is seeking qualified applicants to fill Full-Time twenty-four hour (24/7) and/or ten hour (10/4) Firefighter / EMT-Enhanced, Intermediate or Paramedic vacancies. 

PREREQUISITES:

Applicants must be 18 years of age

Valid Drivers License

Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC)

Certified as an Emergency Medical Technician or higher

(*Must obtain EMT-Enhanced at minimum within one year of hire)

Current CPR certification

Firefighter II

*Preference given for field experience, and current ACLS, BTLS and PALS certifications
