Contest Rules
- To be considered for Photo of the Year, a photo submission must be either a .JPG or .PNG file, between 8 - 20 megapixels large (minimum 2,550 x 3,300 pixels), preferably also in 300 dpi. Please do not resize your photos prior to submission.
- All photos must be taken within King George County limits.
- Applicants may enter up to three entries per person.
- An appearance release will be required for clearly recognizable individuals in the foreground of any photo. This is available at the end of the entry form.
- Photos must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025.
- Each photo submission must include a completed submission form.
Categories
A winner will be selected for each of the following categories:
- This is King George (General)
- Fun Starts Here (Parks & Recreation)
- Life Between the Rivers (Wildlife & Nature)
- Fan Favorite (all submissions automatically entered)

Winners
The selected winners will have their photo framed and displayed in the Revercomb Administration Building.
