Are You Ready To Answer The Call?
Answering the call to become a Volunteer Firefighter and/or Emergency Medical Technician requires significant commitment but comes with great reward. The King George County Department of Fire, Rescue and Emergency Services is a combination department with a need for dedicated volunteers (firefighters/EMT/paramedics) to answer emergency calls as well as personnel for administrative, office management and community education initiatives.
Volunteer Emergency Medical Technician
As a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician, you will receive in-depth training in pre-hospital emergency care. You may choose to continue on with your medical training and pursue training as an Advanced Life Support provider. Knowing that your commitment to training has made a difference in someone’s life is an amazing reward.
Volunteer Firefighter
Becoming a volunteer Firefighter is an exciting and challenging way to serve your community.
