Join the KG community and help collect single-use, thin plastics.
If 1,000 pounds of plastic is collected in a year, then the community will receive a Trex bench to be placed at one of the county's parks.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Gather your household's single-use, thin plastics, including items like
- grocery bags
- bread bags
- bubble wrap
- ice bags
- food storage bags
- produce bags
- plastic wrap
- plastic shipping envelopes
- any stretchy plastic, usually with #2 or #4 recycling symbol
Bring your items to one of the following locations:
- King George Citizen Center (8076 Kings Highway)
