King George Sports, Summer Sports Camp at King George Middle School, is registering elementary and middle school students ages 6 - 14! Directed by Matt Smith, Athletic Director at KGMS. Coach Smith has over 25 years of camp director experience. King George Sports camps are run by KGCS coaches and teachers with help from local college athletes. King George Sports offers level-specific training in a very positive environment. There are two sessions: the first, June 2nd through 6th, and the second, June 9th - 13th. Each session costs $210. Brazilian United Corp. is excited to bring Brazilian Soccer Camp to King George this summer! This program is tailored for players who will be moving into the U6 and U8 divisions in the fall. Coach Castillo has witnessed many young players excel in one division and freeze in the next one. This is due largely to the lack of game exposure. This camp will allow your young athlete to become familiar with the new rules and game play for their new division, which will ensure their success and build their confidence moving forward. our catalog.Tennis Camps, led by Bob Coffin, are intended for beginner and intermediate players ages 5 - 14 years old. Beginners will learn basic strokes and play games that develop eye-hand coordination, good footwork, and confidence. Intermediate players will focus on improving consistency of basic strokes, learning more complex shots, and developing strategy. our catalog.King George Parks and Recreation will be hosting FREE summer soccer pickup games for children AND adults on every Tuesday and Thursday evening over the summer from Tuesday, June 3rd to Thursday, July 24th. Participants must pre-register online! All the games will be informal, pickup-style games. Teams will be created from whatever players are available, trying to balance them as best as we can, and then play will commence!
