Residents may have noticed the presence of King George Fire Rescue at the Revercomb Administration Building (10459 Courthouse Drive) this afternoon, Friday, Aug. 29. Crews were investigating a suspicious smell coming from the elevator shaft. The building was quickly cleared as no fire was detected.
The building remains open regular hours. As the general properties department is inspecting the malfunctioning elevator and working on repairs, the elevator will not be operational. Residents are advised to use the stairs to access the second floor. If anyone needs assistance accessing the second floor, please call 540-775-9181.
