2. HIGH MILEAGE VEHICLE DISCOUNT FORM

   King George County provides a personal property assessment discount to vehicles that qualify as high mileage. The qualification is based on J.D. Power mileage tables. View the updated high mileage chart on our High Mileage Vehicle Discount page to see if a vehicle qualifies for the high mileage discount.

   To receive this deduction in personal property taxes, residents must submit documentation providing proof their vehicle qualifies for the discount by Feb. 15 each year. 

   Acceptable proof can be a state inspection receipt OR a documented receipt or repair bill from an auto mechanic facility. The document must be dated on or near January 1 of the current year and list the year, make, model, VIN number, and odometer reading.
