Vision Statement
To promote general welfare by maintaining a rural county where all citizens can enjoy freedom and prosperity with limited government intrusion.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to create and maintain a responsive local government that promotes rural life, civic engagement, fiscal responsibility, and economic vitality. We aim to protect our community, preserve our heritage, and anticipate future needs, as well as opportunities to make King George, Virginia, the best place to live, work, raise a family, and own a business.
Objectives
- Promote fiscal responsibility and pay off municipal debt and bonds while managing our bond rating.
- Optimize county infrastructure to ensure services and resources are supporting the taxpayers.
- To work in partnership with businesses to enhance the economic vitality of King George, Va.
- To ensure that growth is pursued with control and an emphasis on maintaining rural life.
