Rabies Clinics
Rabies vaccine clinics are held twice a year, during the spring and fall. Dates and times are announced on our Facebook page and may also be listed on the county calendar. Dogs and cats must be 3 months or older and have written proof of current rabies to get a 3-year vaccine. All others receive a 1-year vaccine. Dogs must be on a leash, and cats must be in carriers. Vaccines are $15 each.
Spaying/Neutering
If you own a dog or cat, be responsible and have your pet spayed/neutered. This procedure will prevent the overpopulation of dogs and cats, ultimately reducing needless suffering, homeless animals & the spread of disease. The law requires all animals adopted from the shelter to be spayed/neutered within 30 days of adoption.
